DuraTerra invites industry partners with Scope 3 exposure in Australian agricultural supply chains — food, beverage, fertiliser and agribusiness organisations — to co-invest in our trial and carbon-inset program, with a direct line to the kind of in-value-chain evidence supply-chain reporting increasingly calls for.
Supply-chain emissions reporting is shifting from a disclosure exercise toward a demand for verifiable, in-value-chain interventions — not only externally purchased offsets. Emerging frameworks, including the GHG Protocol's Land Sector and Removals guidance and the Science Based Targets initiative's FLAG guidance for land-based sectors, increasingly favour reductions and removals that occur within a company's own supply chain, with clear traceability back to specific agricultural operations.
DuraTerra BioM is designed to work inside that supply chain — applied on the ground, in the paddocks that feed real agricultural value chains. For an industry partner, that creates the opportunity for an intervention that is specific, traceable and genuinely theirs, rather than a generic credit purchased at arm's length.
Contribute funding alongside DuraTerra's own investment in the existing trial and carbon-inset program, with early visibility into trial design and results as they're validated.
Host a dedicated trial site within your own supply chain — on land you own, lease or source from — giving you a specific, traceable intervention you can describe honestly in your own reporting.
Join a trial program already underway as a co-contributing partner, sharing in the outcomes without standing up dedicated infrastructure of your own.
Visibility into trial design and results as they're validated, ahead of public release.
An intervention specific to your own agricultural supply chain, with a clear line back to a real farming operation — rather than a generic purchased offset.
A position within DuraTerra's developing carbon-inset program, built on measured soil-carbon improvement rather than purchased offsets. program in development
Evidence-led soil and biological outcomes you can describe accurately — without overstating a technology that is still being proven.
Trial designs are complete and initial pot trials are underway, supporting our existing 2023 trial results on substrate chemistry across key broadacre sites in Western Australia. further results published as validated. Separately, DuraTerra is working toward recognition under Gold Standard for a carbon-inset approach built around soil organic carbon sequestration — a submission is under review, not yet an approved methodology. We'd rather be upfront about that distinction, and about how early this program is, than get ahead of ourselves.
We'd welcome a conversation about co-investing in the program, establishing your own trial site, or co-contributing to work already underway.
